| Never apologize for who you are. |

Throughout our lives, we will each face times when being our genuine, authentic selves is scary. Conformity feels safe when you are different, and it is understandable that we choose to hide instead of shine. Consider this: what is the worst thing that can happen if you let your true light shine through? Perhaps some people may not want to be around you any longer. Is that so terrible? I mean, would you rather be someone you are not and have people like you, even if they aren't the kind of person you'd like to be with anyway? Now you're seeing the point. There will always be people who do not understand or accept you, but hiding your light is so much more damaging and painful than dealing with the ignorance of those who judge you. And yes, that is what they are doing. Judge not, lest ye be judged, right? Be who you are, and make no apologies. You don't have to herald your spiritual beliefs at every cocktail party you attend, and certainly you need to consider the appropriateness of the subject, but when you do speak of your life's purpose, do so with a light in your eyes and a confidence in your voice. You may be surprised at how many people you will attract because they, too, have been hiding. Namaste and Blessings to all of my readers.
