We Do Not "Go" Anywhere When We Die

by Nanci Danison

Spirituality uses the phrase "go into the Light." Religions say we "go to heaven" or "go to paradise." These shorthand phrases encapsulate a human frame of reference that does not literally apply to us after we leave these fleshy casings. Once I merged into Source I understood that we do not "go" anywhere; it only seems that way from the limited human perspective. We actually wake up from this lower level of consciousness. The rapid expansion of awareness gives the sensation of movement. It felt that way to me too at first.

Why do I say this? Because early in my afterlife experience I was amazed to discover that I could hold multiple simultaneous levels of awareness. I spent quite a bit of effort exploring that phenomenon. I repeatedly adjusted my perspective up and down the scale from one level to another, observing the more restrictive awareness levels (like human) to ever more expansive ones (Light Being). And I was totally present, conscious, and myself at each and every awareness level--all at the same time. My level of understanding changed depending upon the level I explored, but not my physical location. "Knowings" from Universal Knowledge informed me that what I experienced is universal in the afterlife.

While inside humans, we observe physical matter beings moving from one physical location to another. So we assume physical relocation applies to us in spiritual form as well. It does not. Once we make the transition into full spiritual state, we no longer move about as though inhabiting a human body. There is no physical matter to the Light that we can go into. Nor is there physical matter in what we call heaven or paradise, despite some very convincing visual manifestations near-death experiencers have seen. Light Being life is entirely mental and emotional. We increase our depth of understanding, perspective, frame of reference and degree of awareness of things that are typically unseen in human life. "Where" we are becomes a function of knowledge and understanding--our beingness--rather than a location within a physical matter matrix.

Once we complete life in what we call the afterlife, we become aware that we have never actually been a being at all. We understand and accept that we are personalities or characters within the only entity that matters--Source, Creator of the physical universe we observe. And, as parts of Source, we realize that we could not possibly leave it and have not, therefore, gone anywhere during what we experienced as separate existence.

So I say: we do not "go" into the Light or heaven when the body dies. We simply expand our consciousness enough to perceive the Light and heaven that has always been around us, and of which we are part.

Thank you so much for being open to the messages I returned from the afterlife to share.
