Today's card is the Chickadee!

 

From the Book: Chickadee's message is to take life less seriously. This small, acrobatic bird reminds us that it's okay to do things just for the pleasure of it. There are 7 varieties of Chickadee in North America. The 7th chakra is the Crown Chakra, which is connected to your true spiritual vision. Perhaps a friend or relative who has passed on is trying to connect with you. If so, know that Chickadee assures you that all is well and it's okay for you to move forward. Find that inner child and have some fun! Being an adult doesn't mean giving up your playfulness.

Nicole's Interpretation: These cute little birds visit my birdfeeder often. They love to hang upside down by their little feet and are a joy to watch. It's no wonder they bring a message of playfulness!

As adults, we have a lot of responsibilities, and it's easy to feel guilty if we take time to do something purely for the enjoyment of doing it. Bust out the finger paints, run in the yard with bare feet after it rains, or do a cartwheel. There's nothing wrong with having some fun, and having fun leads to being joyful. Today, do something that feels good. They say laughter is the language of the soul, and it is often through allowing ourselves to let go and be joyful that we suddenly discover what we were looking for!
