Untie the (k)not.
That one in your middle.
The (k)not that says you can’t survive.
The one that keeps you from feeling alive.
Untie the (k)not.
That one in your chest.
The (k)not that holds your fear of loving.
The one that keeps your wings from soaring.
Untie the (k)not
That one in your throat.
The (k)not that locks away your words.
The one that keeps your voice unheard.
Untie the (k)not.
That one in your eyes.
The (k)not that hides the light of knowing.
The one that keeps your tears from flowing.
Feel the freedom of being alive.
Feel the pain of your opening heart.
Say yes to your voice as it breaks into song.
While your tears of joy rain on.
Wash away those last strands of fear.
And free your arms for that long embrace.
In the sweet shelter of the love that awaits.
When you finally untie the knot.
